Pupil numbers at Pattison have increased by 50% over the course of the last 2 years.
A multi-million-pound investment programme is underway at Pattison school in Coventry to create single form entry into the Prep School and to open a Sixth Form in September 2024. Pattison is part of the Chatsworth Schools family and the group is committed to investing in Pattison to enable outstanding futures for even more children.
The expansion is made possible following the recent purchase of the two neighbouring houses to Pattison’s senior school, No. 92 and No. 94 Binley Road. Alongside the school’s existing post-16 Performing Arts course, which leads to students gaining an IDTA Level 4 Diploma in Dance Teaching, No. 94 will become Pattison’s Sixth Form centre offering A levels and further vocational and BTECH/ T levels. No. 92 will be used for the older pupils in Years 9 – 11 as classrooms, as well as administrative offices, creating space in the rest of the school for single form entry in the Prep School.
Both properties require building work to transform them into a brand new Sixth Form centre, classrooms and engaging digital learning spaces and this work will begin imminently, so the buildings are ready for use by September 2024.
Graeme Delaney, Head of Pattison said, “Pattison has always been proudly different from other schools in Coventry because of our inclusivity and broad curriculum. Following this exciting expansion, we will be able to offer our unique combination of a high-quality education and the strongest performing arts programme to even more pupils, as well as a new broad post-16 education.”
He added “We will be sharing our Sixth Form curriculum shortly and parents are warmly invited to share expressions of interest in the new Sixth Form with our Head of Admissions Teresa Hanks: email@example.com.”
