Griffin House Preparatory School

A school for boys and girls from 3 to 11 years of age.

Set within five acres of grounds nestled in the Chiltern Hills, Griffin House School provides an outstanding education for boys and girls aged 3 – 11. Small class sizes and individualised learning environments ensure that children are given the attention and support they deserve to excel as well as being exceptionally well cared for.

Sport is an integral part of school life and all Griffin House School children enjoy playing different sporting activities with each other, learning the meaning of teamwork, patience, fair play and resilience.

Griffin House School children achieve fantastic academic success with exceptional 11+ results, and around 75% of pupils move on to selective grammar and independent schools. These results are all the more impressive as Griffin House is a non-selective school.

”The children’s development is enabled by teaching that consistently and expertly engages the pupils and effectively structures work to develop their language skills, whatever their ability.”
