Matt is our site manager. He is always around the school making sure that it is safe for us to learn and play. Everyday, he comes in at the crack of dawn and makes sure that the building and grounds are free of dangers. During COVID Matt has had extra responsibilities, he has made sure we have enough hand sanitiser and PPE and several times a day he can be seen cleaning the high use areas of the school. When we had snow, Matt was on site at 4.00am clearing the school paths and gritting them so that everybody was able to get around the school grounds without slipping. However, what makes Matt so special is the way he always has time to talk to the children. He will always help them hang up their coats and is never too busy to explain what he is doing or just remembering to ask them how they are or say ‘hello’
