Chatsworth Schools is delighted to announce that James Allen, Head at the award-winning Beech Hall Macclesfield has been appointed to an additional role in the Chatsworth Schools family – Head of Inclusive Education.
When sharing the exciting news, Chatsworth Schools’ CEO and Founder, Anita Gleave said “Chatsworth Schools was founded on the belief of non-selective, inclusive, high-quality independent education and the mission of enabling outstanding futures for every child, not just a focus on the most academic of children and one set ‘bar’ of what an outstanding future looks like.
We are all different. Wonderfully so and we celebrate that.
When it comes to living our beliefs and mission, nobody does that better than our very own Headmaster, Mr James Allen. Â Mr Allen fully understands what it is to ensure every child feels respected, able to be themselves, and crucially, to be empowered to achieve their individual personal best. Â We see it every day in his leadership at Beech Hall School.
On this basis, I have asked James to take on the additional responsibility of Head of Inclusive Education for Chatsworth Schools as well as his continued role as the very proud Head of Beech Hall School. This new role will see him support the other schools in the Chatsworth family as required and will take him away from the school for part of the week. Â He will still be very much Head, and will continue to be seen at drop-off duty, in the pool, and in his shorts at Beech Hall!”
On his new appointment, James Allen said “Thank you to Anita and the team at Chatsworth Schools for the opportunity to work alongside its other schools both in the UK and overseas. Â I am passionate and utterly committed to an inclusive and diverse education that provides children the opportunity to develop as kind, respectful and well-rounded individuals, an education that enables them to become the very best version of themselves.”
