This latest recognition of the quality and expertise of Chatsworth Schools when it comes to exporting educational excellence around the world is hugely gratifying. Blenheim Schools, our international education division, is already working in the Middle East on two groundbreaking inclusive education projects:
- With the Sharjah Private Education Authority on a pioneering SEND and Inclusion strategy and framework for the Emirate.
- Blenheim Schools operates the first and only fully inclusive international school in Riyadh approved by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City International Schools Programme.
The five-day mission has a packed itinerary that will see the mission visit Dubai, Sharjah and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a wide range of stakeholders from regulators, to governments, to investors, to individual schools and nurseries. It will also be visiting Beech hall School Riyadh for a session on best practice inclusion within a mainstream international school.
On the mission’s objectives, Rob Bricker United Arab Emirates Country Director, Department for Business & Trade said:
“This mission is another signal of the strong commercial and diplomatic links between our great nations.
The UK Department for Business and Trade is delighted to bring a cross-section of educational providers to The United Arab Emirates representing schools, early years, and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Building on the established popularity of British curricula for parents choosing international education options, we hope to support the Ministry of Education’s vision to nurture an innovative educational system driven by knowledge, a pioneering spirit, and a commitment to a global society.
This visit will give UK providers from the schools, early years and SEND spaces an invaluable opportunity to meet local regulators, investors, and stakeholders, and build outcome-driven partnerships that serve the needs of families and young people in the United Arab Emirates.”
