Everyone knows at Pattison College how hard Teresa works and how much she is involved in the many different operations of the School’s administration. However, when the Government decreed that Secondary schools must arrange tests for staff and pupils, Teresa came to the fore in shouldering the responsibility for its set-up and implementation.
Put simply, she agreed to be the C-19 Test Team Leader and took it open herself to read and fully digest the Government directives; enrolled and completed all the online training courses and webinars; put a team of testing support staff together and ensured they also completed the necessary training; set-up the test site including the laying of a non-porous floor and the lay-out of various bays; took delivery of test equipment and PPE and organised storage; sent out information and consent forms to parents and arranged a weekly timetable for testing. Whenever, anyone has any queries about COVID and the necessary procedures to be followed, Teresa is the go-to person who is in constant touch with the local public health authority on COVID concerns.
