In our light-filled nursery, we pride ourselves in giving your children the very best possible start in life through a rich mixture of play-based experiences and a tailored educational programme, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our staff love their roles, which is a key ingredient to our success, and from day one, we work with parents to ensure their children’s happiness, confidence, skills and early independence are developed in readiness for the school years ahead.

Inspection Report

Children form secure relationships with staff, giving a sense of joy and happiness for everyone at this nursery. Older children have lovely conversations with staff. Children like to talk about what they know and can do. Younger children enjoy cuddles with staff who sing familiar songs to them to support their communication. As staff sing, the children’s faces light up with excitement and they sway to the musical sounds they can hear.

We are delighted to announce the rebranding of our Marylebone nursery, which from today will be known as Swinbrook House Nursery School, Marylebone.

Swinbrook House Nursery School, Marylebone, formerly known as Marylebone Village Nursery is the first nursery in the Chatsworth Schools Swinbrook House group.

This change will not affect daily life at the nursery, which will continue to operate as normal with the same staff and the same love, care and focus on enabling outstanding futures for all our children.

Since acquiring the nursery, we have welcomed the opportunity to share our experience and resources with children, parents and staff. We have invested in the continuous professional development of staff as well as learning opportunities for the children, including specialist language teaching, a new pre-school classroom on the upper floor with dedicated learning areas providing an excellent space for focused learning activities to promote school readiness.

We are beyond excited about the future of Swinbrook House Nursery School, Marylebone and look forward to seeing the nursery continue to grow from strength to strength. Our congratulations to the staff team for seeing the children and parents through the transition so smoothly.
