Salary: Up to AED 24,000 per month inc allowances per month depending on qualifications and experience

This exciting role will see the successful candidate become the Head of Marketing, Communications and Admissions of a new and innovative educational hub in the heart of Dubai. This post is a role that integrates the functions of admissions, marketing and communications driving pupil recruitment, external relations and events within the school.

The Head of Marketing, Communications and Admissions will be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team responsible for leading the creation of the school’s pupil relations, marketing, communications and external relations strategy.

  • Professional Standards – being an exemplary role model for all of the school community by maintaining high standards of professional behaviour and building and nurturing relationships with colleagues and the wider school community. To be visible in and around the school , develop an understanding of the school culture and participating in key school functions such as assemblies, national day and staff meetings sharing the school’s vision and ethos.
  • Admissions – Creating the admissions strategy and providing a clear vision agreed with the Principal to ensure rigorous systems are in place to ensure each prospective families admissions journey is coordinated ensuring the best outcomes for all. Delivery of the school’s student recruitment and retention targets as agreed with the Principal. Reporting on the admissions KPI’s monthly and analysing trends to improve conversation rates.
  • Marketing, PR and Communications – Building relations with the school community and ensuring the development of links with other agencies to promote the reputation of the school. Oversight of the social media, website, marketing and brand guidelines providing support where necessary. Maintaining up to date knowledge of the market and competitors.
  • Leadership and Management – Management of the admission, marketing and communications related budgets. Strategy development for student recruitment and forecast of pupil numbers. Setting KPI for the department and supporting the management of objectives and targets.
  • External Relations – Development and management of the school’s public relations in close collaboration with the Principal. Implementation of action plans to support the strategic plans and school’s overall business strategy.



  • A highly strategic and creative thinker able to lead change and promote team spirit.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstratable ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with people of different nationalities whilst maintaining cultural sensitivity.
  • In depth knowledge, gained within a marketing and communications function, preferably with educational experience in the region 



  • A clear understanding of pupil recruitment and retention within an educational setting. Exceptional customer relations skills and understanding of the independent international education market.
  • A fluency in digital awareness able to lead and manage the use of the school’s website and social media
  • At least three years’ experience of managing a marketing or communications function in a relevant environment
  • Educated at degree level in a relevant subject and/or a high level professional marketing or admissions qualifications Successful team management with strong team building skills
  • Experience of working within a senior leadership role Excellent written and verbal communication skills Approachable yet inspirational personality
  • Strong leadership skills
  • A sense of humour and fun is essential!
